Epoxies are known for their adhesion and wear qualities. They are recommended for structural steel, tanks, concrete, fiberglass or any surface requiring a high degree of durability. Their tile-like finish is easy to clean and lasts for years. When used on exterior exposure epoxies will chalk and lose gloss. Epoxies are resistant to chemical fumes, splash and spillage of alkalis.
PenRust Polyamide Epoxy (630 Series) is a two component system that provides a highly durable finish. Ideal as a maintenance finish for machinery, pipes or high traffic factory or garage floors. For priming steel Polyamide Primer 630-40 is available.
PenRust Polyester Epoxy Enamel (640 Series) provides a highly durable finish for non-submerged metal, primed wood and all types of masonry. This system has a longer pot life and a relatively lower temperature cure compared to most polyamide epoxy systems. Better exterior gloss and color retention. Ideal for institutional settings such as kitchen and hallway walls.
PenRust Epitex Epoxy Enamel (625 Series) is a convenient single component product that provides a durable finish for non-submerged metal, primed wood and all types of masonry. Useful where a more wear resistant coating is required than alkyd systems, but where multi-component epoxies would be inconvenient.
