Urethanes

Clear urethane finishes consist of a solution of resins and contain little or no pigment. Urethanes are recommended for interior use. Urethanes produce a hard durable film, thinner than alkyds or epoxies, but require better surface preparation techniques to assure proper adhesion. Where an exterior clear is required Woodman’s Spar Varnish (520-05) is suggested.

Moisture-Cure (515-00) is a single package clear urethane that will dry by ambient moisture without a catalyst. Highly recommended for heavy-duty industrial floor coatings (concrete or wood), and in most cases surpasses the performance of alkyds, phenolics and epoxies. Extremely tough and flexible, this product has superior resistance to chipping and abrasion. Areas that are submitted to heavy traffic such as stores, office buildings, hospitals and factory floors are excellent applications.

Woodman’s Polyurethane Varnish & Floor Finish (500 Series) is a high solids varnish with a clear high gloss or semi-gloss finish. Woodman’s Polyurethane is recommended for interior wood surfaces such as floors, trim, gym floors, paneling, furniture, tabletops and bars. Product is noted for extreme toughness, flexibility and resistance to abrasion, hot water, alcohol, food acids and common solvents.

Woodman’s Water Reducible Urethane Wood Finish (503 Series) is a single component clear wood finish with a high gloss or semi-gloss finish. Woodman’s Water Reducible Urethane Wood Finish is recommended for interior wood surfaces such as trim, paneling, furniture, tabletops and bars.
